What Does Project 2025 Mean For SC?

The conservative manifesto making national headlines has real ramifications for the Palmetto State

Earlier this week, Melissa Watson Ward laid out Project 2025. She boiled down what everyone should know in the Heritage Foundation's manifesto and all that lies ahead in the next conservative administration. Despite Donald Trump and his closest advisors trying to distance themselves from the guidebook once they realized folks were catching on to what it was and were displeased, make no mistake, Project 2025 has Trump’s cronies’ names all over it. Its authors and implementers expect the American electorate to disengage from the 925-page document, allowing them to control the narrative. We cannot let that stand.
