We Must Capitalize On The Kamalamentum Locally
All the excitement we’re feeling for the Harris-Walz ticket has to translate to down-ballot victories in South Carolina - here’s how to do it:
I’m feeling it, you’re feeling it, we’re all feeling it. The momentum Democrats nationwide have felt following Kamala Harris’s rise to the top of the 2024 ticket has been well-documented. We got a second jolt of that energy this week with Tim Walz being given the nod for VP. There were thousands of new first-time donors, and people signed up to volunteer in mass. Thankfully, we’ve seen the effects here in South Carolina, too.
But what does that mean? How can we continue to bring in people who have never been engaged? Where can these people begin? I am a big proponent of everyone having a role in this process. You’ll have people willing to jump into the deep end and others looking to dip their toes in the water. Both are completely fine! Allow me to direct you to the correct avenues for this new undertaking.
