Over the past couple of weeks, Nancy Mace has made several posts a day on X, formerly known as Twitter, begging for attention by parroting Republican talking points in an attempt to gain more clout with younger voters and gain TV appearances.
On August 8 she responded to criticism from Democratic National Committee chairman Jaime Harrison, saying that she was in Charleston helping constituents prepare for Tropical Storm Debby by filling sandbags in what was a seemingly staged picture.
Mace has also repeatedly amplified Republican talking points about Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota governor Tim Walz.
She went on a Twitter tirade on August 8 calling Tim Walz “unhinged” in response to him calling Trump and Vance “weird,” asked “Why isn’t #HamasHarris trending” and said that Harris has “been very bad to Israel, and very bad for Jewish people”, disregarding the fact that Harris supports most of Biden’s current policy on Israel and is married to a Jewish man.
During that same tirade, she told Harris to “STAND UP in front of the press corps and TAKE QUESTIONS. This is a DEMOCRACY.” She completely ignored the fact that Harris takes questions from pool press quite frequently, including after her rally in Las Vegas.
Mace also claimed that if Harris is elected, that she, the first women and Black women President would “set women back decades.” Mace said that Harris and Walz “don’t know the difference between boys and girls. Will allow men to take away womens’ achievements in sports and academics. Tampons in boy’s bathrooms- this can’t be real.”
Mace also recently posted a picture of herself at the Southern border captioning the Twitter post “Here’s me at the border not being Kamala Harris,” in reference to Harris’s perceived role in the Biden administration as “border Czar”. None of Mace’s Congressional committees require her to be at the border and South Carolina is not a border state.
All of Mace’s attention-seeking seems to make it obvious that she does and says most things to get herself media attention and publicity.
Don't forget SC's Joe "You Lie" Wilson of the highly gerrymandered Second Congressional District. I wish I could.
So true. She is a MAGA attention seeking ; who tryed to dress herself in "moderate" clothing during the election. What a farce!
