In America, the relationship between Black men and police has always been a turbulent one. Once again, a story involving a high-profile traffic stop includes Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins pulled over for speeding on his way to the game, which eventually had him on the ground face down with a cop's knee in his back. Thankfully, the incident didn't end how many encounters like that could've gone (Hill had seven receptions for 130 yards and a touchdown celebration where he acted as if he was in handcuffs).

The incident again opens the conversation on national and sports media about how to interact with law enforcement, and it's beginning to feel like a recurring conversation that never gets better. As Dr. Greene II, in a recent episode of the Worthy Cause podcast, puts it, "History doesn't necessarily repeat itself, but it is remixed."
