Former Lexington County GOP Chair Charged With Embezzlement
The former chairman of the Lexington County Republican Party has been charged with two counts of breach of trust with fraudulent intent.
42-year-old Craig Caldwell has been accused of stealing more than $60,000 from the county party. Caldwell served as chair of the party from 2016 to the beginning of 2023.
