Book Ban Documentary “Banned Together” To Host Free Screenings in Beaufort, Charleston Next Week
The documentary Banned Together, which follows three courageous students from Beaufort as they fight the ban of 97 books from their libraries, will host screenings in Beaufort on Sunday, September 22nd, and Charleston on Monday, September 23rd. The screenings will allow guests to see the full-length film before the official release. Each screening will include a talk-back afterward with members of the film and special guests.
Banned Together was produced by the Charleston-based film company Atomic Focus Entertainment. The production team behind the film includes producers Jennifer Wiggin, Kate Way, Tom Wiggin, and Allyson Rice. The creative team is rounded out by Editor Cha Quallis and Composer Kim Bullard.
